Who were you before anyone told you who you are?

The road back to you

How did I get here?

How did I get here? Have you ever asked yourself this question? Chances are, you have. Most of us have at some point in our lives. You see, there are times that we find ourselves in situations and circumstances that are beyond our understanding. We try to make sense of how we got where we are, sometimes blaming ourselves and other times blaming the people in our lives. We try to make changes, like setting better boundaries (which is a good thing!) or we pick up the latest self-help book that is sure to radically transform our lives, or so we hope. Things improve for a little while, but somehow we find ourselves going over the same mountain again. It may be with the same person or not, it may be the same set of circumstances or not. What is true is that we find ourselves stuck yet again, lost, wishing we had more joy in life. And, somewhere along the way we lose sight of ourselves and the confidence that we once had to tackle the issues of today - we find ourselves asking the question - how did I get here?

If you can relate, I want you to know that it is very possible for you to find joy again, to have clarity and confidence! If you are tired of going over the same mountain over and over again, I am here to help! Together, we will travel the road back to you - your authentic self. Not only will you be able to answer the question, how did I get here, you will discover the keys to unlock your present and future.

What’s the past have to do with it?

Traveling the road back to you requires looking back and oftentimes re-examining past experiences - good and bad. You may be cringing right now at the idea of looking back on ”bad” or “painful” experiences. Well, you’re not alone. I think most people would rather pass at the idea of resurrecting life’s most painful experiences. I’d like to submit to you, however, that your greatest breakthrough is likely on the other side of your willingness to look back. When we embark on the courageous journey back to ourselves, we discover keys that unlock our present along the way.

How do I know if I’m ready to meet with a coach or counselor?

If you are experiencing pain, hurt, disappointment, anger, depression and/or have experienced trauma in your life than it may be time to seek professional help. Chances are these unresolved emotions may be impacting how you show up and live today.
